Children’s Ministry

The Children's Ministry is an integral part of First Baptist. It is available from birth until the sixth grade. Each week our Children gather for music and Godly Play. Our children's ministry encompasses not just our own First Baptist children, but those of the First Baptist Weekday School

Godly Play

Godly Play instills an early understanding of the presence of God with our children. Godly Play helps our children to explore their faith through story, wonder, and play. It is based on the Montessori principles and serves as an integral part of our Children's Ministry.

Children’s Choir

Our Children's Choir meets on Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00.

At 4:30 children in grades K - 2 go to Godly Play while those in Grades 3-5 stay for more music experiences.  

The Children's Choir also participates in worship several times a year.

Sunday School

Our Children's Sunday School is availble for all ages. The Children's Sunday School classes are developed based on scripture, art, music, and journeying with Christ.

Classes: 

  • Nursery/Preschool 

  • Grades K-2

  • Grades 3-6
